FC St. Pauli secured their first three points at VfL Osnabrück since August 1991 on Sunday afternoon. After a scoreless first half, goals from Guido Burgstaller (pen.) and Omar Marmoush set the Boys in Brown on the way to a deserved 2-1 victory. A late consolation from Marc Heider was not enough for the home side to turn the game on its head.

The league campaign continues with a trip to VfL Osnabrück this Sunday (13:30 CET). Three points are the target, as head coach Timo Schultz was keen to point out at Friday morning's news conference.

FC St. Pauli's six-game unbeaten run came to an end on Monday evening after a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of SC Paderborn 07. Chris Führich gave the visitors an early lead before Sebastian Schonlau doubled their advantage in the second half.
