"We regret it greatly because we would have liked to have tied Lasse to the club on a long-term contract, though we respect the step he has taken, of course. Lasse conducted himself exemplarily during the negotiations and in arriving at his decision. We were in constant contact and always up to speed. Our dealings were very open and honest. His decision gives us certainty in our planning and allows us to continue putting our squad together for the new season."

Lasse Sobiech has made a total of 129 appearances and scored 16 goals so far in two spells with the club.
