HIMMELMANN: HAVE TO BANISH THE DOUBTS

After the defeat against Fortuna Düsseldorf we collected a few soundbites from the mixed zone for you.
Andreas Rettig: "When you look at the table it's very worrying and leaves you feeling sick. We can't say we didn't deserve to lose today. We simply didn't create enough chances. It's our job now to ensure the players keep the belief in themselves and don't give up, no matter how difficult that is."
Robin Himmelmann: "It could hardly get any worse. There's not much more I can say at the moment. We've scored two own goals in the last two games and lost both of them as a result. We have to keep getting stuck in and banish the anxiety and the doubt. The task now it to draw a line under what's gone before and look ahead. We know we can only get out of this situation together. The fans are justifiably unhappy when you only get six points from 13 matches."
Daniel Buballa: "It really hurts. How the goal came about is secondary at the end of the day. We had a couple of good chances again today but are left empty-handed. Unfortunately in the second division the team that scores first has it easier playing out from the back."
Aziz Bouhaddouz: "We trained really well in the week. But winning games is what it's all about and we've failed to do that again. We have to work hard on converting the half chances. We still have belief in ourselves, of course we do."
Kevin Akpoguma (Fortuna Düsseldorf): "Both sides felt each other out in the first 20 minutes. Then we got a grip on the game and went in front from a very good move. It was clear we weren't going to let them get back in the game after that. We defended superbly in the closing stages."
Lukas Schmitz (Fortuna Düsseldorf): "We didn't allow them many chances. It was good for an away game. We battled hard and saw the game out well. We wanted to play to our full potential and if you do that you can win at St. Pauli."
