FC St. Pauli are pleased to announce that defensive utility player Yiyoung Park has signed a three-year extension to his contract with the club, which was due to expire at the end of this season, after agreeing terms with director of sport Uwe Stöver.
"Yiyoung has developed really well and showed how valuable he is to the team last season in particular," said Stöver. "We're convinced he hasn't reached the end of his development yet and are therefore very pleased to be continuing our journey together long-term."
A delighted Park said: "I'm delighted to be remaining a part of this team. St. Pauli have given me great support since I moved to Germany. I therefore want to continue helping the team and will give my best at all times."
Park has made 17 appearances and scored one goal for the Boys in Brown to date. He has also played 54 times for the Under-23s, also contributing one goal.
