"ANYTHING'S POSSIBLE HERE AT HOME" – THE POST-MATCH REACTION

After the passion-filled 3-2 win over Holstein Kiel we spoke to some of the protagonists in the mixed zone to get their views.
Christopher Avevor: "It's just a great feeling to score. The main thing, though, is that we won as a team. To be honest none of our attacking set pieces worked well today, apart from the last one. After a good start we hit a blip in the first half, but we picked ourselves up again and never lost our belief. Anything's possible, especially here at home."
Johannes Flum: "It was the kind of game I love. That's why I play football. The second half was a bit of a tightrope. Kiel had some chances, if we're honest, but I still had a good feeling because we had more presence after the break. We could have lived with a point but landed the lucky punch at the end. We may have been lucky to win but it wasn't undeserved."
Waldemar Sobota: "We fought hard today. It was a combative game where we had to find our way back in after we went 2-1 down. Our shape was better in the second half and we gave Kiel little space. Thankfully we were able to turn the game round."
Daniel Buballa: "The three points were extremely important, it's a fantastic feeling to win the derby. We flew into every tackle. At half-time we set out to step up another gear. We can celebrate now and then start our preparations for the next top clash next week."
Aziz Bouhaddouz: "We started the game very well and it was a fantastic derby towards the end. We didn't play a lot of football unfortunately, but it was great for the fans."
Kenneth Kronholm (Holstein Kiel): "We had an outstanding first half. The way we turned the game round was perfect. We couldn't build on it after the break, however. We know we can only win if we give one hundred per cent."
Johannes van den Bergh (Holstein Kiel): "We had a very good first half but couldn't keep it going after half-time. I don't think St. Pauli were the better team today, they were luckier."
Marvin Ducksch (Holstein Kiel): "We had an outstanding first half and kept our focus after we went behind. After that we made some individual mistakes that we have to stop making. In the end I would have preferred to win the game rather than score a goal and lose."
