Sören Gonther: "We threw everything at it but after 90 minutes the draw is a fair result. Every point is important and we'll take that. Not many teams have taken points off Hannover. We now have another important game ahead of us at Aue after the international break."

Philipp Ziereis: "It's been a long time since I started a game. We gave an excellent performance and played at a very high tempo, especially after the break, when Hannover hardly had a look in. In the last few minutes we ran out of steam a bit. Six months ago we'd have lost a game like that but now we're coming through such phases. Keeping a clean sheet was important but if we'd taken the lead, it would have been a different game. Every point counts in the end."

Christopher Buchtmann: "The game ebbed to and fro. We learned from the Union game and played even better today. We invested a lot in the second half and were in the ascendency throughout. It's a shame we didn't get our reward."

Waldemar Sobota: "It was another good game for the fans after the one against Union Berlin. The first goal would have won it. We had the better chances after the break and could have gone ahead. When I had my chance, I should have shot first time instead of controlling it, which took up valuable time. Hannover had some good opportunities at the end and could have scored. It was a good team performance from us."

Aziz Bouhaddouz: "In the second half we were much the better team until the 85^th minute and had Hannover under control. Unfortunately, we didn't reward ourselves with a goal. We can live with point because Hannover had some great chances in the last few minutes."

Lennart Thy: "We wouldn't have complained if we'd won, of course, but in the end it was the right result. We all know what's at stake. We're only focusing on ourselves."

Mats Møller Dæhli: "It was a tough and very close game with lots of tussles for the ball. We played really well, but so did Hannover, so the draw is OK."

Philipp Tschauner (Hannover 96): "It was very special to return to the Millerntor today and see lots of familiar faces. A point is not enough considering the way we played in the last ten minutes but overall it was deserved because St. Pauli put us under tremendous pressure."

Manuel Schmiedebach (Hannover 96): "Our game plan was to stay solid at the back and launch some good counterattacks from there. We have to work teams if we're to get goals, of course, but unfortunately we failed to do that today, which meant that in the end we didn't get the goal that would have won it for us."

Florian Hübner (Hannover 96): "We defended well today and kept it at 0-0 for a long time. We had some good chances, especially at the end, and should have scored, so it feels more like two points lost rather than a point won. Other teams would have had problems here against St. Pauli."

Edgar Prib (Hannover 96): "We came with the attitude that we have to win the game but it was clear it wouldn't be easy because St. Pauli have had a very good year so far. We have to be satisfied in view of the way the game went."
