BOUHADDOUZ: "CAN'T AFFORD TO RELAX"

After the 2-0 win at Greuther Fürth we went in search of quotes in the mixed zone as always. For all the jubilation, the players were already looking ahead to the final game of the year against VfL Bochum.

Aziz Bouhaddouz: "It was a very emotional game. The fans were superb, not just today but even when things weren't going well. We worked very hard today. Unlike last week we put our chances away this time. I think the turning point was the second half at Heidenheim when we realised we could still play football. I hope we can build on this in our next game now. We can't afford to relax, though, because we still won't get anything for free."

Cenk Sahin: "I do everything I can for the team and I'm happy to have scored. We really wanted the win. We've played well twice in a row now and obviously we want to build on that at home. I think we'll climb away from the bottom after the winter break."

Philipp Heerwagen: "It's not about individuals here, it's all about the team. We wanted to kindle a spark today and that's what counts! When you look into the faces of my team-mates, you see defiance. Today the lads had the courage to make mistakes because they know a team-mate will cover and can iron out the mistake. On top of that we were simply cleverer in the key moments."

Sören Gonther: "Before the game I told the lads I wanted to feel what it's like to win again after the 90 minutes. It came off today and the feeling is indescribable. That was our best performance of the season. Huge compliments to the boys for that. We can be happy today but tomorrow we start our preparations for the crunch game against VfL Bochum."

Lasse Sobiech: "We needed this win. It's obviously a huge weight off our shoulders. The players invested an incredible amount today. The emotions after the second goal when the whole team piled on top of each other were insane."
