FC St. Pauli and Under Armour end collaboration

FC St. Pauli and equipment suppliers Under Armour have decided by mutual agreement not to continue their collaboration beyond the 2020-21 season. The Baltimore company has supplied playing and training wear for the club's professional and youth teams since 2016.
FC St. Pauli would like to thank Under Armour for the successful collaboration and wish the company all the best for the future. A statement on the club's new kit supply arrangements will be issued at the appropriate time.
Director of sales Bernd von Geldern said: "The reason we came to a joint decision not to continue our collaboration beyond the 2020-21 decision is that both sides are up for something new – which is precisely what brought us together in 2016. We think the time has come to strike out anew, yet also look back on a very successful partnership with lots of mutual stimuli. The first US tour, with the visits to the Under Armour offices in Baltimore and Portland, in particular, was a collective highlight. We'd like to thank Under Armour most sincerely for five years of constructive cooperation."
