Veerman delighted to be back
The 2018 football year ended on a low note for Henk Veerman when he suffered a serious knee injury in the 4-1 home win over Magdeburg three days before Christmas that kept him out of action for ten long months. A year ago to the day, the Dutch striker was undergoing surgery, but now he's fighting fit again and looking forward to a mini-break on Gran Canaria.

BOYS IN BROWN TURN ON THE STYLE TO BEAT LEAGUE LEADERS BIELEFELD 3-0!
FC St. Pauli signed off into the winter break in impressive fashion on Saturday afternoon, deservedly seeing off the challenge of table-toppers Arminia Bielefeld by three goals to nil in front of a sell-out crowd at the Millerntor. Henk Veerman gave the Boys in Brown a two-goal lead at the break in the face of some fierce resistance by the visitors before Viktor Gyökeres added a third on 54 minutes.
